Brenda Balogh

I was raised to go to church from an early age and accepted the love of Christ at the age of 9. During my teen years, mission trips and youth camps were some of my favorite memories. They both had a profound impact on my life, and my calling, and it’s why I’m passionate about creating opportunities for people to experience the kindness, and dare I say fun, side of the Father. I care deeply about biblical community and discipleship and have devoted my life to building the church with both as I dive deeper into my lifelong pursuit and understanding of them. 

 

My husband Josh and I met at Bible College and have been married since 2005. We have four amazing and beautiful children. We love to host people in our home for meals, coffee talks on the porch, and game nights full of laughter. Our family places a high value on kindness, hospitality, and generosity and we have watched countless times as He takes whatever we bring with open hands and makes something miraculous out of it. 

 

My Hope for Overflow Church

That we as a people would know we are loved unconditionally by a faithful God, and from that love, we would “tump” out onto everyone we come into contact with. That we would be a safe place of friendship, belonging, shelter, and movement toward removing aloneness, and bringing the Kingdom of God to the here and now.
